Brake fluid is recommended to change every 25,000 miles or at least every two years. This helps to keep your car running smoothly and make the brake last longer. First you have to know what fluid to use on your car. If you don't have any idea you can check your car owner's manual or ask someone in the auto shop. Make sure the turn off the vehicle and you can pop up the hood and locate your car's brake master cylinder. It is usually located near the driver seat, and next to the engine. Open the cap and check whats the color of the fluid, if its looks dark or thick then its time to change it. You have to pump and sucked out all the fluid, you have to make sure the hose is all the way down to the bottom to drain the fluid out off the master cylinder.

Now that is empty you have clean the cap and cylinder with a clean cloth. The pour the new fluid until it get to the line that says full. Now you have to remove the tire off your car. You just have to use a jack to raise the car off the ground and remove the tire. Each tire there is a bleeder valve, you to use a wrench to loosen it. You have to remove the other old fluid on the fluid lines. You have to use the pump and sucked the old fluid. Repeat this for the other tires until gets clean. Go back to the master cylinder and fill it again. When your done reinstall the tires and test drive your car. Step on the brake pedal firmly for a few times to get rid of the brake warning light.
